Mumbai is the single largest source of UAE travellers from India. Whether you’re going for a long weekend in Dubai, an Andheri-to-Burj Khalifa work trip, an Indian wedding at Atlantis, or to visit family in Sharjah, getting your UAE visa right is the first step. Here’s how we file UAE tourist visas for Mumbai-based applicants — entirely online, with INR pricing, full document pre-check and WhatsApp support through the whole thing.
Why apply online with a UAE-based agent
Many Mumbaikars still default to a local visa agent in BKC, Andheri or Bandra. That worked when paper applications had to be hand-delivered to the consulate; it doesn’t add value today. UAE tourist visas are all electronic, filed via the ICA or GDRFA portals, and delivered as a PDF.
What does matter is who’s on the other end when something goes wrong — a documentation query from ICA, a delay in approval, a question about the entry stamp at the airport. That’s where being physically based in Sharjah helps: we resolve issues with the immigration authority directly, on UAE time, without you waiting for a Mumbai office to reach out to a Dubai “contact” the next morning.
Which UAE visa fits your trip from Mumbai
Most Mumbaikars need one of three:
- 30-day single-entry tourist visa — classic Dubai holiday of 1–4 weeks, no plans to leave the UAE mid-trip. From ₹7,900 (AED 350).
- 60-day multi-entry tourist visa — longer family stay, or a UAE trip with a side jump to Oman or Saudi. From ₹12,500 (AED 550). Most popular.
- 5-year multi-entry visa — for frequent business travellers from Mumbai who land in Dubai 4+ times a year. Stay up to 90 days per visit. Pricing on request.
For longer Indian wedding trips at Atlantis or W Dubai, the 60-day multi-entry is almost always the right choice — the price difference vs the 30-day visa is small, but the flexibility (extending the stay, side trip to Oman) is worth it.
Bringing parents along? They can travel on their own 60-day tourist visa, or you can sponsor them on a 60-day visit visa from your UAE residence (if you have one). Either way, we file both at the same time so the dates align with the rest of your group. See our UAE family visa guide for the full breakdown.
Documents required for Mumbai applicants
Standard set, all uploaded online:
- Clear scan of your passport bio-data page (the front page with your photo). Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
- Recent passport-size colour photograph, white background, JPEG, taken within 6 months.
- Confirmed return flight tickets — BOM ↔ DXB / AUH / SHJ.
- Hotel booking confirmation, or a host letter + Emirates ID if you’re staying with family in the UAE.
- Recent 3-month bank statement showing reasonable funds.
- Salary slip or NOC from employer if you’re salaried; ITR or business registration if self-employed.
How to apply — from your phone in Mumbai
- Send your documents on WhatsApp — just photos or PDFs, no need to courier anything. We confirm receipt within an hour.
- Free document review — our visa team checks every page against current ICA/GDRFA rules. We tell you immediately if anything is missing or borderline.
- Pay in INR — UPI, Google Pay, bank transfer, or a card link. We send a single transparent invoice (visa fee + service fee), no hidden charges.
- We file through the right channel (ICA for Sharjah/Abu Dhabi entry, GDRFA for Dubai entry).
- Visa delivered to your email as a PDF in 3–4 working days. Print it, carry alongside your passport, fly.
Mumbai to UAE — flight options to plan around
Direct flights from Mumbai (BOM) to all three UAE airports are available round the clock:
- BOM ↔ DXB (Dubai) — Emirates, Air India, IndiGo, Vistara, SpiceJet, Air India Express. ~3 hours 15 minutes. 25+ daily departures.
- BOM ↔ AUH (Abu Dhabi) — Etihad, Air India, IndiGo. ~3 hours.
- BOM ↔ SHJ (Sharjah) — Air Arabia, IndiGo. ~3 hours. Often the cheapest.
We process visas for entry into any of the three airports. Tell us where you’re landing and we’ll select the appropriate channel (GDRFA Dubai for DXB; ICA for AUH and SHJ).
If you hold a US, UK or Schengen visa
Indian passport holders with a valid US visa, UK visa, EU Schengen visa or US Green Card may be eligible for a 14-day UAE visa on arrival, or a special e-visa with reduced documentation. This is faster and cheaper than the standard tourist visa. Send us your existing visa pages on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm eligibility.
Once your visa is sorted — Dubai trip planning
We’re a full-service Dubai travel agency, so the same WhatsApp contact that handles your visa can also build your Dubai itinerary — desert safari, dhow cruise, theme parks, hotel bookings, airport transfers, the lot. For Mumbai families specifically, we’ve curated Jain-friendly Dubai packages with pure-veg meals on every tour:
- Dubai tour from India — Jain & veg packages with INR pricing
- Dubai holiday packages 2026 — family, honeymoon, kids, senior
- Desert safari with separate Jain BBQ counter
